Set within a slight lull in the ridge line, this guest house is sited to look out over a canyon of trees, with only one house visible far in the distance.
The house – and every room in it – is perfectly situated to watch the evening fog roll in from the coast.We’ve designed the small dwelling to maximize its limited footprint, proposing the formal dining room be set outdoors.
Glass, steel, and concrete rule the day on this project, providing a transparent envelope for living, with minimal visual impact on the surroundings. We envision a thoroughly natural landscape plan, further augmenting the structure’s organic integration within the site.
