The Elene sits adjacent to the Napa Valley Vine trail – a 47-mile, multi-use trail for walking and biking that, when completed, will provide a physical, artistic and cultural connection for the entire valley. The five-acre site is one of very few commercial sites available in Napa County, and offers an extraordinary opportunity to provide an immersive experience of the revered vineyards on the Napa Valley floor. This unique setting on the valley floor provides a natural destination for anyone looking for an authentic, active and connected wine country experience. Guests will have the opportunity to disconnect from daily life and absorb what the land has to offer, departing with the sense of having been part of the valley’s winemaking community.

Designed as a collection of structures surrounding a central arrival area and integrated into the surrounding vineyards, the hotel is designed to capture views of the surrounding vineyards at every opportunity. The resort will feature 50 guestrooms and suites,  a pool, fitness studio and a recovery garden designed by Napa-based Lydia Mondavi, as well as a restaurant, bar, café, outdoor living room, and a bike barn.

The architectural concept is based upon the repetition of simple, contemporary forms, carried out with materials that feel light and playful, yet authentic within the rural setting. Arrival begins with views of the public courtyard, where both guests and locals can gather. Guest room structures embrace the surrounding vineyards, with shed roofs that open up to the views to the south and west.

Currently under construction, The Elene will open in early 2026.
